The US Ambassador paid a special visit to Auezov University

US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Daniel Rosenblum arrived on an official visit to Auezov University.
During the visit, the diplomat met with the leadership of the educational institution and discussed new areas of cooperation.
Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization of Auezov University Aigul Iskakova noted that the university is interested in further strengthening and expanding partnerships with US universities. She also introduced the program for transforming the university into a research university and noted specific measures for its implementation.
“As part of the internationalization program, the university cooperates with 230 universities and research institutions in 35 countries. One of our strategic partners is the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Resource Development. To date, a number of projects have been successfully implemented with this educational institution,” said Aigul Iskakova.
Currently, Auezov University is strengthening cooperation with leading educational institutions in the United States within the framework of the Bolashak program. As part of the English Fellowship and Fulbright programs at the university, American scientists and teachers give lectures and teach English. Currently, Fulbright ETA fellow Madeline Rose Lawler teaches classes for students in the Department of Modern Languages and Translation Studies.
In turn, Daniel Rosenblum noted that Kazakhstan is a reliable partner in Central Asia and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and science.
The Ambassador thanked the leadership of Auezov University for the warm welcome and noted that this helps to enhance strategic partnerships with US universities.
